I see two main reasons why I would like to deactivate a line: - erroneous data but I want to keep track of the bad data. In this case, I obviously don't want this measurement included in the calculation, nor being displayed. This is what we have at the moment with Status = x - several survey tracks in the same gallery because I have one very obvious survey point and starts from this very identified point to survey new parts of my network. In this case, I don't want the re-surveyed part to be counted again for the total length but I still want them to be used in the structures of my cave et drawings (2D/3D)
Maybe you could have Status = x for bad data and = y for good data not counted (again) but used anywhere else. Cheers Thomas
Today you could work with levels. Assign surveys which should not calculate to the total length with another level. To calculate the desired total length you temporary have to select all other levels (Visualization-Survey Shots-Filter=Level, Selection=other levels, Apply). Hope this is suitable.
For future: To exclude surveys with status=y from calculation of total length seem to be easy. But it is not possible to display these surveys and reduce the dimensions of the cave (e.g. total depth).
Another couple of suggestions on the same matter: - Being able to display the exclusion in Plan/Profil/Section same as for topographer, depth/height, direction, date, loop, etc. Include=grey, excluded=red - being able to perform the exclusion from the Plan/Profil/Section using right mousse clic.
