I have run CRP for the last couple of weeks on a Mac, and it looks like the Google Maps view doesn't work at all.
Running *.jar is not enough.CaveRenderPro requires some parameters. For Windows, you need to run CaveRenderPro.bat, contains this command line: "%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" -Xms1g -Xmx4g -Dprism.targetvram=1g -Dprism.maxvram=2g -Dprism.vsync=false -Dfile.encoding=COMPAT --module-path "%FX_HOME%\lib" --add-modules=javafx.controls,javafx.base,javafx.graphics,javafx.fxml,javafx.web -jar CaveRenderPro.jarI think you need to adapt it for Mac.

I have spening some more time for this issue. Indeed GoogleMaps does not work anymore with Java 8.I have no solution yet.
